The new Samsung Omnia i900 is now available on Orange. It’s Samsung’s most advanced mobile phone and it’s free on an 18 month contract costing £35 per month.

The Samsung i900 Omnia is a PocketPC running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro. It’s also a 3G phone with HSDPA, Wi-fi and a GPS receiver. It has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, face detection and even smile detection! And with GPS, photographs can be geotagged, this means the exact location of each photograph is saved with the date and time.

As a media device, the Samsung i900 is among the best. The 3.2 inch touchscreen display has a 16:9 widescreen aspect and thanks to a built-in accelerometer the screen automatically rotates when the phone is turned on its side.
